Keeping more than just memories of your perfect day
While it may take months of planning and preparation, your wedding day will come and go so fast that when you finally leave the reception, many things will have just become one big blur.
Hopefully, your wedding photos and video will provide a lasting memory of your perfect day that you can enjoy and share with others for the rest of your life. (We say “hopefully” because unfortunately you will always meet couples who’ve had a “photos from hell” experience.)
While your mum might make a really great wedding cake and your aunt may be an exceptional seamstress, we’d really like to stress that you should think more than twice before delegating the wedding photos or videos to a family member or close friend. Even if they’ve got very expensive gear and tell you they’ve done it heaps of times. And never ever crowd-source your wedding photos if you’re hoping to have some wonderful shots that capture magic moments such as the rings, the kiss, the cutting of the cake (to name just a few).
As with everything else, the bottom line with photography and videography is “do your research”. And you can start that by clicking on the sections below.
